Hey everyone!
It's almost midnight, but I felt like I need to add some more, than just a recent update on the Wikia.
Yes, I still play
Telehack, did some playing on
Uplink too, but I just can't let go from Telehack, maybe because it's closer to reality more.
Forbin keeps the game luckily updated, I just can't get myself doing more work on the Wikia, maybe step by step. I am already planning on moving the Wikia page to my own device, since some issues are getting annoying.
About my device: I have made my old EeePC (701) working as server, added an external USB as supportive HDD; I hope it will last long. I currently host a
Gopher site on the device, some more services as well, but only
Gopher is being accessible from the outside. Please read more on the Gopher protocol
here.
I have also experimented with
Eggdrop as well, released
Garfield, the bot to the
in-official IRC channel of Telehack. I also started working on my old 486, allowed Ethernet and Internet on it under DOS. Got installed Arachne as web-browser, added SSH support; was trying on installing DesqView, but it won't cooperate with me under FreeDOS. Installed DR-DOS aside FreeDOS; looking forward to the results.
Aside from the geeky stuff the family is fine, daughter is doing well too, she is around 8kgs, 10 months old, but she is a cheeky one. She finds always the open spaces, small parts of the room to discover everything.
